Health Teacher

HealthTeacher is a great resource for health questions and materials for children and their parents. HealthTeacher was originally developed in 1999 by health educators and health professionals with the goal of providing a comprehensive online resource that would make it easy to teach good health habits to children.

Today, HealthTeacher is used in all 50 states and 14 foreign countries. From urban and suburban schools, to after school programs and home schools, HealthTeacher's 20,000 current users are health educators, school nurses, physical education teachers, classroom teachers, community organizers and parents.

HealthTeacher is committed to education, outreach and the promotion of health literacy in our communities. Our support for children's health extends beyond the pages of our website, and example is our work as the founding partner of the Blue Apple Awards, which recognizes school health programs.
